* The science of acupuncture and
moxibustion includes four aspects:
the meridians and collaterals,
acupoints, manipulating methods, and
clinical treatment.It is a practical
science of preventing and treating
diseases with acupuncture and
moxibustion under the guidance of
the TCM theory.

The origin of acupuncture
* Bianshi--stone needle, the primitive
stool of acupuncture
* The development of needle material:
stone, bone, bamboo, bronze, iron, gold,
silver, stainless steel, etc.
* Moxibustion was discovered after
discovery and use of fire. moxa was
used as main material through long
time practise.
